spine is designed to work without an account. Your shelf and the book details you save are stored locally on your device.
spine does not operate user accounts, advertising, analytics, or a database of your shelf. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or tracking.
When you search for a book, the words you type are sent in real time to book-data providers so the app can show matching books. Depending on the search, these providers may include Google Books, Aladin, Kakao, and Open Library. Book cover images are downloaded directly from the provider serving them.
spine does not retain your search queries or create a profile about you. Book-data providers may handle search requests and standard technical information under their own privacy policies.
You can remove individual books in the app. To remove all shelf data stored locally on your device, delete the app.
